Sydnie Christmas is an actress & singer, best known for winning Britain’s Got Talent 2024.

Sydnie’s BGT Golden Buzzer audition, singing ‘Tomorrow’ from the musical Annie, has been watched by over 40 million people across social media. Sydnie went on to win her Semi Final with her own arrangement of Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’ and was then crowned winner with her sensational rendition of ‘Over the Rainbow’ in the Britain’s Got Talent Final. After catching the attention of Andrew Lloyd Webber, she then released her own version of ‘Starlight Express’. To commemorate the 80th year anniversary of the VE celebrations, Sydnie most recently released her version of Dame Vera Lynn’s wartime classic, ‘We’ll Meet Again’.

Sydnie captivated the nation with powerhouse vocals and emotional depth during her Britain’s Got Talent journey. Her debut album, My Way, soared to the top of the iTunes charts in both the UK and the US. Recent performances include the Royal Variety Performance in front of King Charles III; a sold-out New York debut at Sony Hall; and a performance at David Foster’s 75th birthday celebration at the Hollywood Bowl alongside Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson and others.

Sydnie made her professional debut in Lazarus – The David Bowie Musical, and most recently appeared in Starlight Express in Bochum from 2019-2022.

With 25+ years in the entertainment industry and best known for his incredible stage presence with JLS, it’s no surprise that Aston and the group went on to sell out countless arena tours, over 10 million record sales, including five Number 1 hit singles and numerous awards. Juggling between that and a hugely successful solo career Aston continues to make strides in his career, having toured the world including USA, Australia, New Zealand, Italy and many more.

Aston has also starred in several hit theatre shows such as Rip It Up, Footloose, Wizard of Oz and was also a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing, and winning the Christmas special edition.

With Aston releasing new music throughout 2025, it follows in a line of commercial pop hits that include his platinum debut single, “Get Stupid,” followed by more recent tracks including, “Sweat”, “Right Here”, “I Ain’t Missing You (Stripped)”, “You Chose Me”, and his two latest releases, “Company” and “VERTIGO”.

Having starred in movie ‘Boogie Man’ as Danny, and Jordan in BBC’s drama ‘Almost Never’, Aston is also no stranger to acting, most recently, Aston made his Disney Pixar debut, joining the cast of their latest animated film, Elio. This marks a significant milestone in Aston’s career as he brings his energy to the world of animation.

Aston also showcased his expertise and personality as a TV judge on Sky 1’s Got To Dance, numerous pilots for FOX TV and was unmasked as Robin in the finals of the 2020/2021 series of The Masked Singer UK.

Aston continues to leverage his social following, using his platforms to create comedic, upbeat, engaging, family and musical content for his millions of followers across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. His charm and quick wit have led to him working with global brands, including BMW, Nespresso, Red Bull, Amazon, Disney, Meta, LEGO & Spotify.

At the end of 2024 Aston completed his 5th UK solo tour selling out the iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the final night, and is performing at a number of summer shows in 2025. Later this year Aston sets out on the road again for the JLS arena tour.

Aston is husband to Sarah and father to his two sons, Grayson and Macaulay, and daughter, Riley.

Ronan is an actor and musician from Paisley, Scotland. He graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2024 and has enjoyed a year filled with theatre and puppetry. He is excited to make his London debut and spend his summer with this production (and all of the dogs).

Shortlisted for the Evening Standard and TikTok Future Musical Theatre Fund, Chioma Uma is a Rose Bruford College graduate with a degree in Actor Musicianship. Douglas Hodge

Music & Lyrics

Douglas Hodge has released two albums of his own compositions, Cowley Road Songs and Nightbus, both available on Spotify and Amazon, and he won the Stiles and Drewe 2012 Best New Song Award for his song “Powercut”. His new musical MEANTIME is in development at the Menier Chocolate Factory and his musical WIGMAKER has been developed by The Stable and The Royal and Derngate Northampton.

As an actor his recent film credits include G20, We Live In Time, Joker, Gemini Man, The Report, Red Sparrow.

On television, he has appeared in I Hate Suzie, Lost In Space,The Great, Catastrophe, Black Mirror, The Night Manager, and Penny Dreadful.

On stage, Douglas won a Tony Award, Olivier, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best Actor for La Cage aux Folles on Broadway and The West End. He originated the role of Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Drury Lane. Douglas is a five times Olivier-nominated actor for work at the Royal National Theatre, The RSC Shakespeare’s Globe, The Royal Court, and The Almeida.

Douglas Hodge has held an Associate Director role at The Donmar Theatre, and has directed Old Times on Broadway; See How They Run in the West End and a successful tour; Torch Song Trilogy at The Menier Chocolate Factory; and Last Easter for Birmingham Rep.

Douglas trained at RADA and for over twenty years was a council member of the National Youth Theatre Of Great Britain.

Johnny McKnight

Johnny McKnight is an award-winning writer, director, educator, dramaturg and performer. His theatre credits include the accoladed Wendy Hoose, The Incredible Adventures of See Thru Samand The Joke. He has been described as the ‘vanguard of post-modernist panto’, with 29 productions and a slew of nominations for these works. Television credits including Queen of the New Year, Holby City and 36+ hours of River City  (for which his 20th Anniversary Special won Best Drama at the 2023 Royal Television Awards, Scotland). He is currently in development with two stage musicals for National Theatre of Scotland; a Christmas movie with Artis Pictures; a reboot of classic TV series Hamish Macbeth; plus a comedy series and feature with Fable Pictures.

Jimmy Grimes

Puppetry Designer/Director

Jimmy is a puppet designer, maker and director, working on stage and screen. He was associate puppet director on the West End production of War Horse (National Theatre Productions) as well as creating the puppetry for Coldplay’s music video ‘Daddy’ (Aardman Animation). Other credits include ‘Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear’ (National Theatre), ‘Big Bad Me’ (Little Angel Theatre), and the development of his own projects exploring new innovations in puppetry. His latest piece ‘Wes’, premiered at the MARIOFA puppet festival in Madeira and is preparing for further touring in 2024/25. He regularly teaches at universities and festivals internationally and recently released a book on mechanism design for makers.
